The company has been actively involved in providing a venue for educational visits.

Strong links with local schools and community groups have been established to encourage children and adults - our customers, to develop a better understanding of farming and the countryside.

Over the last few years The Countryside Foundation for Education has organised open days for schools at Manydown. Our involvement with The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust as a research base has seen a steady stream of visitors both U.K. and overseas who are interested to learn from our experiences.

Learning how the farm works

We were established as a LEAF demonstration farm in 1994 and this also has generated a lot of interest in our farming practices with visits from a wide range of people from all parts of the world.

We have also welcomed visitors on ‘Open Farm Sunday’.
